WEB 2.0 SERVICES

Crafting A Successful Web Series
The rise in the popularity of the Internet and improvements in streaming video technology mean that producing and distributing a web series is relatively cheap by traditional standards and allows writers/producers to reach a global audience who can access the shows 24 hours a day. But just because budgets are smaller doesn't mean there's room for sub-par quality. As in all media, concept, story, and production planning are still king.

It's reported that a web series like "Ask a Ninja" pulls in $100,000 a month in advertising, sponsorship, and licensing revenues. Sharp writing, funny characters, and Internet savvy are key to its success - and key to the success of many other web series. Does your web series have what it takes to make it? Don't consult your crystal ball, consult a professional!

The Internet Mogul
Submit a web series business plan and a batch of two original web series scripts. Analysis of your business plan includes two pages of notes plus a summary page reviewing the viability of your Internet projects relative to the market. Not only will we help you craft a great story, but we'll also discuss where to take your web series for potential funding and sponsorship opportunities with production companies, networks, studios, and cutting edge New Media outlets. We'll also provide support targeting the lucrative mobile space. Includes a 30 minute follow-up phone consult with a successful New Media executive to discuss your project, your career, cross-over potential, and what comes next. $375

The Inter-Web
A review of your original web series scripts and/or pilot (up to 40 pages total). Discussion of "it factor," plot, character development, potential distribution channels, series development, and sponsorship angles. Two pages of notes for the web series as a whole. $150

Note: For Express Overnight, add $50.

The Click-Through
