Louis Rosenburg's UPGRADE was just named the GRAND PRIZE WINNER in the Cinestory Contest, a $7000 win! Louis' other script, MONKEY ROOM, was named a TOP 20 SEMI-FINALIST in the PAGE INTERNATIONAL CONTEST, and a runner up in the annual UCLA Contest.

Jay and Chris Thornton - the infamous Thornton Brothers - just got repped at William Morris/Endeavor with their script, MECHANICSVILLE. Congratulations, guys! We knew you when!

The 2009 Worldfest Houston International Film Festival recognized not one but three Script Department clients. Kevin West was awarded the top screenwriting prize, the Platinum Remi, for his script SURFSIDE HOTEL, Louis Rosenburg won the Gold Remi for his script UPGRADE and Paul Fusco won the Bronze Remi for his script THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. A very proud congratulations to all three!

Wenonah Wilms' script SLEEPING WITH THE LUTEFISK, a 2008 Silver Screenwriting finalist was selected for the IFP Independent Film Week's "emerging narrative" and also won first place in the Atlanta Film Fest screenwriting competition. Congratulations, Wenonah!

Sara Bovolenta's script CHRISTOP MENZ won first prize at the 2009 Fellowship of Australian Writers literary competition and first prize at the White Light Award, also in Australia.
